Louvre Screen

 The external aluminium louvre screens at the rear of the second storey were installed.  It was done in a couple of days, with access via the rear laneway and a scissor lift.  One more item ticked off the list!

Benchtops!

It was really really nice to see the benchtops going in! 

The cantilevered bench to the ensuite vanity being installed here by 

Amalgamated Marble. 

The waterfall edge to the kitchen island bench.  We were extremely pleased with the results, and were very happy to have come across these particular Carrara slabs.

Front Deck

The front of the house had always been that part of the house that has been neglected, in a way.  The verandah that was falling apart has finally been pulled down, and will be totally rebuilt.

It took a while for us to decide on the spotted gum timber decking, which will also be used for the steps and the planter boxes.  We are pretty pleased with the results.

My first dream kitchen...

It is so cool to see that my kitchen is finally getting installed!  It is certainly taking shape as the heart of the house, and it is even more amazing that it turned out pretty much exactly as the rendering.

Tiling now completed on the bathroom downstairs & the ensuite upstairs.
Hopefully we can remove all the dirt from those muddy boots from the plumber off the newly grouted floor!  :(
